Our historical building once a whaling station, ensures the perfect setting for an idyllic lunch or evening experience.

There are 3 frequently sighted whale species in False Bay.

The Brydes whale, Humpback whales visit the bay on their migratory path to their breeding grounds off Mozambique, but the star attraction is the annual visit of the Southern Right whales.

They come here to mate, calve & raise their young. They are the largest of the 3, growing to a length of about 17 metres & weighing up to 60 Tonnes. Their behavior in the bay includes Logging (resting), Spy hopping (Pushing their head vertically above the water), Sailing (tail vertically above the water), flipper/fluke slapping or if you're very lucky you may even witness the whale breeching almost clear out of the water.
